One of musical theater's biggest hits, Anything Goes, the irresistible musical filled with unforgettable music and dazzling dance numbers, continues The Marriott Theatre's spectacular 40th anniversary season. The production opened on April 15 and runs through May 31 at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. BroadwayWorld has photos from the opening night festivities below!

Anything Goes features an unparalleled score by the legendary Cole Porter with a virtual hit parade of songs ("De-lovely," "Friendship," "You're the Top," "Blow, Gabriel, Blow," "I Get a Kick Out of You"). 15-time Jeff Award-winner Marc Robin will bring his signature high-watt energy to the stage to direct and choreograph the toe-tapping musical comedy. Robin is joined by Music Director Jeff Award-nominee Ryan T. Nelson.

Anything Goes is a willfully silly tale of love, deception and celebrity chasing on the high seas remains a crowd pleaser. Love and infatuation fill the air aboard the opulent S.S. American, but things are far from smooth sailing for an unusual array of passengers making their way across the Atlantic. The funny and fast-paced story follows evangelist-turned-nightclub singer Reno Sweeney (Stephanie Binetti: Broadway Curtains; National Tour of Mamma Mia!; White Christmas, Legally Blonde, Now and Forever at The Marriott Theatre) en route from New York to London and her pal, young Wall Street broker Billy Crocker (Jameson Cooper: HERO, La Cage aux Folles, Legally Blonde at The Marriott Theatre), who is stowed away to be near his love, American debutante "Hope Harcourt" (Jeff Award-winner Summer Smart: National tour of Wicked; The Light in the Piazza, My One and Only at The Marriott Theatre). A series of mistaken identities and good old-fashioned blackmail ensue asReno and gangster-on-the-run Moonface Martin (Jeff Award-winner Ross Lehman: The Tempest, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum and Epic Proportions on Broadway; Fiddler on the Roof, Hairspray, The Producers and Hot Mikado at The Marriott Theatre), join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope's heart and break off her engagement to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh (Patrick Lane: Marriott debut, National Tours ofHamlet and Rosencrantz & Guildenstern Are Dead).

Anything Goes also features Jeff Award-winner Gene Weygandt as "Elisha Whitney" (National Tour of Wicked and Big: The Musical; Me and My Girl and A Day in Hollywood - A Night in the Ukraine at The Marriott Theatre); Jeff Award-winner Mary Ernster as "Mrs. Evangeline Harcourt" (The Light in the Piazza at The Marriott Theatre; The Sound of Music at Lyric Opera of Chicago); Alexandra Palkovic (9 to 5, Cats, Legally Blonde at The Marriott Theatre); Jeff Award-winner John Reeger(The Iceman Cometh at the Brooklyn Academy of Music Harvey Theatre and A Christmas Carol at the Goodman Theatre, Amadeus at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre,Hamlet at Court Theatre, and Chicago at The Marriott Theatre); Jeff Award-winner Anne Gunn (Road Show at Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; White Christmas, Guys and Dolls at The Marriott Theatre; Side by Side by Sondheim at Light Opera Works); Patrick Sarb (Mamma Mia! On Broadway; Cabaret and Fiddler on the Roof at The Marriott Theatre) and Jeff Award-winner Mark David Kaplan (National Tour of The Lion King; LES MISERABLES and Ragtime at Drury Lane Theatre). The ensemble includes Brian Bohr, Annie Jo Ermel, Adam Estes, Jerry Galante, Katie Johannigman, Kevin Kulp, Sayiga Eugene Peabody, Andrew Purcell, Scott Shimizu, Adrienne Storrs and J Tyler Whitmer.

Lead Artistic Director Aaron Thielen heads up the Anything Goes production team. Set Design is by Tom Ryan, Costume Design by Nancy Missimi, Lighting Design by Jesse Klug, Sound Design by Bob Gilmartin and Properties Design by Sally Weiss.
