Kyle DeSantis, Executive Producer of Drury Lane Theatre, continues a holiday tradition as he welcomes over 500 nuns who have traveled in from numerous states for the 57th annual evening of complimentary dinner and theater. This year, Drury Lane Theatre is treating the nuns to an elegant dinner followed by a performance of the smash hit musical THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

The production has been sold out for several weeks due to being named a top ten production of 2011 by many media outlets. Due to the tradition that was started by Kyle DeSantis’ legendary grandfather, Tony DeSantis, who passed away in 2007 at the age of 93, the DeSantis family continues the special event to thank the nuns for their devotion and service to the community.

Drury Lane Theatre is a 950-seat venue in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. This hugely successful enterprise continues to dominate the Chicagoland theater scene with a commitment to re-imagining classic musicals and plays, developing new works, showcasing exclusive concerts by legendary entertainers, and presenting compelling children’s theater.

Drury Lane Theatre collaborates with some of the nation’s most talented directors, actors, musicians and designers to bring audiences an extraordinary theatrical experience. The facility also boasts a world-class banquet facility, where over 1,500 people enjoy Sunday Brunch every week.
