Chicago Jazz Philharmonic (CJP), under the direction of artistic director and co-founder Orbert Davis, continues into a second year of its popular and impactful performance series "Chicago Immigrant Stories".

The series kicks off in with Athanasios Zervas on January 24 (6:30PM) at the National Hellenic Museum in Greektown (West Loop). It will continue on February 21 (6:30PM) at the National Museum of Mexican Art in Pilsen. The project will culminate in July 2019 with a full orchestral arrangement of these Innovation Lab ideas, featuring all the collaborating performers with CJP's 60-member orchestra, conducted by Orbert Davis. All events are free and open to the general public.

"Chicago Immigrant Stories" is made possible through generous support from The Reva and David Logan Foundation, and ComEd's "Powering Up the Arts" program. Special thanks to host partners National Hellenic Museum and National Museum of Mexican Art.
