Lillie's Q, where chef/owner Charlie McKenna serves award-winning competition BBQ along with Southern favorites and sides in Bucktown (1856 W North Ave), is now serving "MoonSwine" - a small-batch moonshine infused with bacon.

Lillie's Q makes MoonSwine by taking Benjamin Prichard's Lincoln County Lightning (a 90%-proof white corn whiskey) and infusing it with house-smoked bacon, brown sugar simple syrup, black pepper, and spices in Ball mason jars for 48 hours. The mixture is then poured through a coffee filter, and the MoonSwine is ready to serve either as a shot or a sipper on the rocks for $8.
