Mary-Archie Theatre Co. Presents RED LIGHTWINTER, Opens 11/10

Mary-Arrchie Theatre Co. will present the Midwest premiere of RED LIGHT WINTER at Angel Island, 735 W. Sheridan. It will open Thursday November 10th at 8 p.m. and run Thursday through Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 7 p.m. Tickets are $18 on Thursday and Sunday, $20 on Friday, and $22 on Saturday. There will be $5 previews on Tuesday November 8th and November 9th at 8 p.m. We will close on Sunday, December 18th. There will be no show on Thanksgiving, November 24th. Escaping their lives in Manhattan, former college buddies Matt and Davis take off to the Netherlands and find themselves thrown into a bizarre love triangle with a beautiful young prostitute named Christina. But the romance they find in Europe is eventually overshadowed by the truth they discover at home. Written with an unflinching poetic beauty, Red Light Winter is a play of sexual intrigue that explores the myriad and misguided ways we seek to fill the empty spaces inside us.

This production is for adult audiences and contains nudity, adult content, drug use and smoke effect.

Red Light Winter is directed by Carlo Lorenzo Garcia (Our Bad Magnet). It features Daniel Behrendt, Dereck Garner and Sasha Gioppo.

Designers include Scott Davis (set), Stefin Steberl (costumes), Matthew Gawryk (lights), Carlo Garcia (sound) and Sarah Burnham (props). Stage Management & Assistant Direction by Mary Patchell.
