Mark Toland Announces MIND READER At The Greenhouse Theatre
Mind Reader Mark Toland announces his new production, Mind Reader, comes to The Greenhouse Theater Center, 2257 N. Lincoln Ave. starting May 2 and running through June 13. Press opening is Wednesday, May 9 at 8 p.m. Over the course of 75 minutes, Toland engages audience members with psychological illusions and mysteries of the mind. Performances are every Wednesday at 8 p.m. with general admission tickets $25 and available at greenhousetheater.org or by calling 773.404.7336.
"Get ready for an unforgettable evening," said Toland. "The audience is the cast, their thoughts are my props and their minds will be blown!" Audiences should prepare to take part in the show, as Toland attempts to get into their thoughts and reveal what they are thinking. "There are no weekly mentalism shows in the city right now, so I'm thrilled to bring an exciting new show to Chicago audiences every week," Toland added.
The Chicago Tribune calls Toland's performances "Mind blowing!" and Theme Park University (from where?) has recognized him for being "One of the best mentalism acts in the world!" His shows have also received numerous awards at international fringe festivals, including "Best of Fest" and "Audience Choice" at FRIGID New York, "Pick of Fringe" at the Orlando Fringe Festival and "Top Selling Show" at Chicago Fringe.
