Locked Into Vacancy Entertainment will perform their next series of LIVE podcasts in March. L.I.V.E. Presents: The L.I.V.E.s of March! will take place on Sunday, March 11th, 6:30p.m., at Uptown Underground.
Locked Into Vacancy Entertainment (L.I.V.E.) is a theatrical podcast company based in Chicago, IL. An audio variety show in the style of old time radio, L.I.V.E. features original stories, larger-than-life characters, live Foley and sound effects, songs, and audience participation. All performances are available free online as 30-minute recorded podcasts, so you can listen to your favorite stories again and again. Being a member of L.I.V.E.'s audience makes you a member of the show, as all performances are recorded with your participation and reactions for the online podcast.
The L.I.V.E.s of March! will be L.I.V.E.'s 3rd show of its 2018 monthly radio series. The evening's episodes include a chapter of that not-quite-epic hero, Thultak: Wandering Barbarian in "The Princess and the Peon," written by Rob McLemore and directed by Andrew Huttel, followed by a drama-riddled installment of the 2017 Audio Verse Award winner Generic Hospital in "This Episode Brought to You by Cat Cola", written by Andrew Huttel and directed by Courtney Lynn. The evening wouldn't be complete without several commercials from "sponsors," and an exciting mid-show raffle featuring items generously donated by local Chicago artisans.
