Lifeline Theatre’s KidSeries Presents HOW TO SURVIVE A FAIRY TALE

Lifeline Theatre's KidSeries presents the world premiere fractured fairy tale, How To Survive A Fairy Tale, by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member James E. Grote, and directed by Lifeline Theatre ensemble member Shole Milos. Even though his dad is a frog and his mom claims to be a princess, Jack grew up in a house without fairy tales. So when he is thrust into a mysterious forest, threatened by bears and witches and trolls, he must find a way to survive without any knowledge of the "rules" of traditional folktales. Travel with Jack on a madcap quest to rescue children lost in the woods, escape from some extremely gruff billy goats, and help his parents find their "Happily Ever After." This production is appropriate for children ages five and up, and runs approximately one hour with no intermission.

How To Survive A Fairy Tale runs Saturday, Jan. 7 – Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Lifeline Theatre, 6912 N. Children of all ages will get up close and personal with the fairy tales that inspired the play in an interactive storytelling session, followed by theatre games exploring the characters, plot, and themes of the play.
