Loved-Lest: The Truth of the World follows the narrative of a dancer riding the ups and downs of love, family, and fame. Based on the spoken word work of creator/performer Russell, Loved-Lest presents an interdisciplinary evening of street performance, theater, and dance through the lens of an artist at rock bottom. Russell's line of inquiry asks core questions about the fluidity of identity, how artists navigate a world where their sometimes intangible product can't earn them a living, and where interdisciplinary performers fit in to an ever-digitalizing arts world.
