Jeff Garlin to Star in DEALIN' WITH IDIOTS at Music Box Theatre, Opening 7/12
Curb Your Enthusiasm co-star Jeff Garlin takes the director's chair with his youth baseball comedy Dealin' With Idiots from IFC Films, opening in Chicago July 12 at Music Box Theatre, 3733 N. Southport Avenue.
Garlin stars with Christopher Guest, Fred Willard, Bob Odenkirk, J.B. Smoove, Gina Gershon, Kerri Kenney, Jami Gertz, Timothy Olyphant, Richard Kind, Steve Agee, Jim Sheridan and Nia Vardalos in this improvised comedy about the parents of a little league baseball team. Garlin will be in attendance for opening weekend showings on Friday and Saturday, July 12 and 13, 7:20 p.m. to introduce the movie and conduct audience Q&As. He's also of a school of thought that kids should be left to their own devices and parents have no place helicoptering over their every move. Faced with the absurd competitiveness surrounding his son's youth league baseball team, Max decides to get to know the colorful parents and coaches of the team better in an attempt to find the inspiration for his next movie.
