Improvised Jane Austen (Chicago Reader Recommended & PerformInk's Critics' Pick) performs Sunday, October 29th at the McKaw Theater in Rogers Park.

The long-running, all-female comedy team will conjure a new two-act tale on the spot in the style of the beloved 19th-century British novelist, but with a vampiric twist in the spirit of the season.

Since 2008, the ladies of Improvised Jane Austen have graced venues including Playground Theater, Chemically Imbalanced Comedy, Stage 773, Bughouse Theater, Chicago Improv Festival, the Chicago Women's Funny Festival, the Chicago Nerd Comedy Festival, and the Dallas Comedy Festival, as well as historical societies, schools and even bridal showers.
