Hunters Stage And Bradley Schuller Present HISTORY OF TANGO, 8/3 ImageBradley Schuller productions has entered into an agreement with Hunters Stage to present recurring performances at their space in their Elmwood Park restaurant. Hunters Stage has been presenting weekly jazz sessions and other live music performances. Hunters Stage is looking forward to expanding their musical offerings to include opera and other multi-cultural events that Bradley Schuller will co-produce on a regular basis.

So to launch this collaboration, we are excited to announce that after our SOLD OUT performance at Church of Beethoven in Oak Park back in May, our group are going to have a repeat performance of "History of Tango - Noche de Pasión" coming up on Friday, August 3rd at 8:00 PM. Dinner service starts at 7:00 P.M. Dinner and Drink specials available.

"The History of the Tango" decidedly forgoes the flourish of dance in favor of a curation of tangos most cherished songs including arias from Piazzollas enigmatic tango operetta Maria de Buenos Aires. This intimate recital by noted tango singer Alba Guerra and tenor Bradley Schuller celebrates the music and lyrics of Carlos Gardel, Filibierto, Hector Stamponi, Horacio Basterra, Jose Dames, Horacio Ferrer, Enrique Discepolo, Francisco Canaro, Homero Manci, Anibal Troilo, Astor Piazzolla and more. Accompanied by guitarist Marcus Dunleavy and bandoneonist Ben Bogart, the program will be augmented with a few masterpieces from tangos rich instrumental canon.
