Hell in a Handbag's SCREAM, QUEEN, SCREAM! to Run 9/24-10/31
Hell in a Handbag Productions is pleased to continue its 2015-16 season with the world premiere of SCREAM, QUEEN, SCREAM! a horror trilogy by David Cerda inspired by Creepshow, Night Gallery and Tales From the Crypt, directed by Shade Murray and Wm. Bullion. SCREAM, QUEEN, SCREAM! will play September 24 - October 31, 2015 at Mary's Attic, 5400 N. Clark St. in Chicago's Andersonville neighborhood. Tickets are currently on sale at www.handbagproductions.org. The press opening is Sunday, Sept. 27 at 7 pm.
Join the twisted ensemble at Hell in a Handbag Productions in a twisted trio of tales featuring ravenous monsters, Ed Jones as Maggie and Agnes Marlowe, identical but deadly twins in a Hush Hush Sweet Charlotte/Strait Jacket mashup, and an evil bitch from hell known simply as 'Betty' in an even campier tribute to the already campy The Crate from the classic '80s film, Creepshow.
The full cast includes David Cerda, Ed Jones, Jamie Smith, Chad, Shiv Mann, Laura Coleman, Joshua Peterson, Caitlin Coleman, Christea Parent, Rachel Hadlock and Kristopher Bottrall.
The production team for SCREAM, QUEEN, SCREAM! includes: Lolly Extract and Amber Marsh (puppet design), Kate Setzer Kampausen (costume design), Mikey Moran (sound design), Mealah Heidenreich (props design), David Cerda (assistant director) and Jamie Crothers (stage manager).
