Guild Board Backstage Tours Return to the Lyric Opera This Spring
For anyone who's curious about the inner workings of Lyric's Civic Opera House; anyone who loves Chicago architecture; anyone who loves taking photos inside a beautiful art-deco edifice full of incredible ornamentation; anyone looking for a great Sunday activity to share with friends and family - like YOU!
Guild Board Backstage Tour are back at Lyric Opera! Premium tour experiences offered February 12, March 12, and April 2.
Explore life behind the curtain at Lyric Opera of Chicago. Your 2.5-hour, 10-stop walking tour will be guided by professional staff and trained volunteers, peppered with interesting discussions and demonstrations by experts in various staging areas, encompassing makeup and wardrobe, props and scenery, the orchestra pit, and more.
VIP Premier Tours:
Groups of 10-12 depart between 10:30am-10:50am. Includes luncheon, additional lecture, and Q&A session with a Lyric insider. $150/person, $70 tax deductible.
Classic Tours:
Groups of 20-22 depart within half-hour slots between 11am-2pm.
$45/person. Boxed lunches may be reserved for additional $15/person.
Group Tours:
Available for parties of 15+ at a rate of $40/person. Call 312-827-5626.
