GayCo Productions Presents RE:GIFTED, Now thru 12/27

By:

Some gifts just keep on giving. Others are immediately shoved to the back of the closet, only to be rediscovered and hastily rewrapped for someone else, 10 minutes before the party starts.

With GayCo Productions’ new best-of holiday revue Re: Gifted, only its very best holiday scenes of Christmases past have been selected and wrapped with tender love and candy canes.

Re: Gifted opens tonight, Nov. 29 at 8pm at the Annoyance Theatre (4830 N. Broadway) and runs Thursdays at 8pm through Dec. 27. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by calling 773.561.4665 or by visiting www.TheAnnoyance.com.

Re: Gifted features several new scenes sprinkled together with the funniest and most flamboyantly festive scenes from GayCo’s three smash holiday revues: Do You Fear What I Fear?, Scream if You Love Christmas, and LIT!

From out-of-towners experiencing the Walnut Room for the first time and demented Sugar Plum Fairies to the true meaning of a White Christmas and friends toasting to what they really think about each other, Re: Gifted promises to be one holiday gift you won’t want to return.

Re: Gifted stars a mix of GayCo ensemble members and artistic associates, including Performed by Kathy Betts, Amanda Cohen, Christopher 'Tito' Lotito, Alexandria Miller-Vanover, Jamie Newland, and Robin Trevino. It’s directed by GayCo ensemble member Brett Mannes.

GayCo Productions, founded fifteen years ago at Chicago’s famed Second City, has been winning awards for their unique brand of sketch comedy where “gay” is the given not the punchline.  For more information, visit GayCo.com.

Press night will be held tonight, November 29th at 8pm and all regular performances run every Thursday through December 27th.
