Despite a fire that damaged their venue (Indian Boundary Park Fieldhouse), the Fury Theatre will still produce their upcoming performance of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. The company has moved their multi-show performances of A Midsummer Night's Dream to Chippewa Park and will premiere as originally scheduled today, June 1.

In partnership with the Chicago Park District, Fury Theatre proudly presents Shakespeare's comedy A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Arin Mulvaney, veteran Shakespearean actor and co-founder of Fury Theatre's outreach program, The Shakespeare All-Stars.

Midsummer interweaves three stories - young lovers thwarted by authority, rustic workmen putting on a play, and the epic quarrel between the King and Queen of the Fairies.

Guests are w elcome to picnic in the park and enjoy live entertainment preceding the play. At Sunday matinees, audience members are invited to don our Shakespearean costumes and props and take photos with the actors at our free photo booth.

Featuring a cast ranging in age from 8 to 50 including Patrick Bromley, Jill Matel, Matthew McDaniel, Jenny Tremblay, Nathan Thompson, Ellen Cribbs, Brian Conley, Keath Hall, Andrew Lund, Rand Ringgenberg, Isaac Samuelson, Beth Harris, Mark Dodge, Betty Lorkowski, Alex Levin, Christine Worden, Morgan Ziegelski, Izabella Mims-Haddad and Isabelle Roberts.
