Fox Valley Rep Presents Musical Tributes and Comedic Combat

This January, Noble Fool Theatricals will launch their new Fox Valley Repertory name witha variety of musical tributes and comedic combat, including: Chicago's finest songbirds The Pin Ups, some of the best comedic swordplay in the country, The Swordsmen, and a weekend of the popular Beatles band, American English at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. Main St., St. Charles, IL; 630-584-6342).
The Fox Valley Area will fall in love with this singin' and swingin' 1940s cabaret trio, The Pin Ups! Their unique blend of vintage style and music with modern humor has quickly earned them respect and a solid following of fans in Chicago and beyond. Complete with a full band, you'll enjoy the sounds of The Andrew Sisters, The McGuire Sisters, Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and more! The Pin Ups perform January 7, 2011 at 8pm. Tickets are $39.Master swordsmen Dirk Perfect and Guido Crescendo return to Pheasant Run as The Swordsmen with their award-winning brand of interactive swordplay for the whole family. Learn honor and the art of chivalry through some of the best comedic combat in the country! The Swordsmen perform January 8, 2011. Showtime is Saturday at 8pm. Tickets are $29. After sold-out performances, American English is back to rock Pheasant Run with the complete musical history of The Fab Four. With familiar costumes, vintage instruments and special effects, this band is as close as you'll ever get to reliving The Beatles. From The Ed Sullivan show to Abbey Road, you'll be twisting and shouting to all of your favorite Beatles tunes. American English performs January 14 & 15, 2011.
