Fox Valley Rep, in residence at Pheasant Run Resort, announces an exciting line-up for their calendar-year 2012 season, many new to the Fox Valley community, including the comedy behind "Gone with the Wind" during golden age of Hollywood, Moonlight and Magnolias, the romantic musical featuring Neil Sedaka's hits of the 1960's, Breaking Up Is Hard To Do, Theo Ubique's critic-acclaimed Chicago revue of Rodgers and Hammerstein, Some Enchanted Evening, Deborah Zoe Laufer's modern empty-nesters comedy, Sirens, and the holiday musical, The Winter Wonderettes.

"The community's support in 2011 during our inaugural season as Fox Valley Rep has led to our most successful season ever. From making history with our first ever Collider New Play Project with Fox Valley's high-energy physics facility Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory, to a record amount of subscribers, donors and sponsors, we're very happy with the direction our company is headed in," says Artistic Director John Gawlik. "And our 2012 season will uphold our tradition of stories that make you laugh, reflect and reconnect to moments in your life."

Gawlik has programmed an exciting season with some of the top and emerging directors in Chicago.
"To celebrate our second season as Fox Valley Rep, we are continuing to offer the best subscription rates and benefits in the area," says Gawlik. "Our 5-show packages are heavily discounted so that no theater ticket is more than $20. Our number of subscribers has grown tremendously, and we hope this continues."

But when Santa turns up missing and the whole staff mistakenly gets fired on Christmas Eve, these singin' sweethearts must use their talent and creative ingenuity to bring the Merry back in Christmas. A holiday musical full of classic '60s hits including "Santa Baby," "Jingle Bell Rock," "It's a Marshmallow World" and more. This energetic and entertaining show is guaranteed to delight audiences of all ages. Rating: PG

A new play program partnering playwrights from around the country with scientists from Fermilab National Accelerator Laboratory to develop new works that help us better understand the universe and who we are, while illuminating and celebrating the worlds of art, science and technology. Back by patriotic demand, Fox Valley Rep unites with The Fox Valley Concert Band to create a powerful tribute to the United States Armed Forces. With beautiful musical tapestry, actors will weave in soldier's letters written to friends and family during their time of service - including letter submissions from the Fox Valley Area. An event of remembrance and celebration. Portion of ticket proceeds to benefit the Fox Valley Troop Support, Inc.

We just hope you'll live to retell the tale of one of the longest-running suspense thrillers in history. Rating: PG-13

Other Performances
In addition to these performances, Fox Valley Repertory will be producing three youth ensemble musical performances, presenting four live music events, six national comedy touring acts and several student field trip performances throughout the year - together, totaling to over 200 performances during the 2012 season.
