Final BIG GAY TALENT SHOW for GAYS GOT TALENT Held At Sidetrack

The Final BIG GAY TALENT SHOW for GAYS GOT TALENT culminates at Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted, Saturday, March 20, with doors at 1 p.m. The show starts at 3 p.m. where, based on an audience vote, one act will be crowned the winner.
Windy City Media Group, the company behind the popular Windy City Gay Idol, now in its 8th year, has searched for the most diverse and talented acts in Chicago's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community with Gays Got Talent, a BIG GAY TALENT SHOW. The BIG GAY TALENT SHOW on March 20 includes singers, drag artists, impersonators, former gay idol winners, comedians, burlesque artists, slam poetry, tribal male belly dancing, ballroom dancers, and performance artists. After an audience vote, one act will be crowned the winner and awarded $1,000 cash, American Airlines tickets, Steppenwolf and Ravinia tickets, Miller Lite and Skyy vodka merchandise and more. The audience votes for the winner. However, three talented judges will provide feedback: casting director Claire Simon of Claire Simon Casting, local diva and singer Amy Armstrong (competitor on America's Got Talent last season), and actor/comedian Mitchell Fain (Midnite Circus, Second City). Amy Matheny, host of Windy City Queercast, is the host of the Gays Got Talent show. Plus enjoy guest performances by the 2009 Talent winner slam poet Lucy Shumpert and America's Got Talent finalist burlesque star Michelle L'amour.Where: Sidetrack, 3349 N. Halsted in Chicago
