Faith & Whiskey To Host Catalina Wine Mixer

Faith & Whiskey (1365 W Fullerton Ave), the premier whiskey bar and party spot in Lincoln Park, will throw a "Catalina Wine Mixer" party on Friday, August 13 that's inspired by the Catalina wine mixer scene from the movie Step Brothers along with mid-70s thru mid-80s nautical decadence.

Drink specials during Faith & Whiskey's "Catalina Wine Mixer" include:
$30 tableside boxes of wine
$5 Harvey Wallbanger cocktails (vodka, Galliano, orange juice)
$5 Smirnoff Ice bottles
$5 Jim Beam drinks/shots
$5 4 Rebels Dragon Bombs

A $100 cash prize will be awarded at midnight during the "Catalina Wine Mixer" to the patron wearing the most impressive nautical attire.

There will be a free pizza buffet from 5pm-8pm during the "Catalina Wine Mixer" party. Faith & Whiskey's weekly Friday "Video Power Hour" from 8pm-9pm will feature sixty of the best one-minute clips of Step Brothers stars Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly. Faith & Whiskey will also screen Step Brothers throughout the party on its four flatscreens.

DJ Texas Street Jesus spins at 10pm, and his sets will feature "Yacht Rock" (popular soft rock hits from the mid-70s thru the mid-80s) from the likes of Michael McDonald, Steely Dan, Kenny Loggins, Christopher Cross, Toto, and The Doobie Brothers.
