Denise Tomasello Stars In Tribute To Another Chicago Icon: Mister Kelly's

Chicago entertainment icon Denise Tomasello pays tribute to another Chicago legend- Mister Kelly's. The historic nightclub was the place to see established performing stars such as Ella Fitzgerald and Sarah Vaughan and omics Woody Allen, Mort Sahl and Bob Newhart, while being the launching pad for upcomers Barbra Streisand and Bette Midler. Hailed as "Chicago's Cabaret Queen" by the Chicago Tribune, Sun-Times, WGN Radio, Daily Herald and Skyline Newspapers, the legendary Denise Tomasello pays homage to the legendary Chicago night club Mister Kelly's. On Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 5:30pm until 9:30pm, and at its original location - 1028 N. Rush Street, Chicago, (now the famous Gibson's Bar and Steakhouse), will transform and take us back to the era of dinner with live musical entertainment. In Mister Kelly's: The Legend Comes Alive, "the one and only Denise Tomaslello" (Rick Kogan Chicago Tribune) pays homage to the legends before her that made Mister Kelly's an institution for intimate live entertainment - performing the hits of Barbra Streisand, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Bette Midler. Along with acclaimed jazz pianist Bob Mamet and rising Second City star comedian Kaye Winks, there will also be featured food from the original Kelly's menu: appetizers, Green Goddess Salad, prime steak or fish and dessert.All proceeds of the event will benefit the production of the documentary film, Mister Kelly's Chicago. As with every Denise Tomasello performance, this engagement is already sold-out. However, to accommodate the many fans that couldn't get a ticket, they will be live streaming the entertainment in the bar next to the performance at Gibson's, for people that want to hear the show, watch on monitors, and have a drink (cash bar) and be part of the excitement. There will be no admittance charge for this. Arrival time is after 6:30 for 7:30 showtime.
