Dais Records Offers Complete Sampling Of All Previous Releases

Founded in 2007 by friends Gibby Miller and Ryan Martin, Dais Records prides itself on re-releasing lost/unheard/forgotten material and providing a home for bold new sounds in need of release. For the first time, Dais Records offers up a complete sampling of all previous releases.

While releasing obscure, challenging material and noise recordings, the label echoes the intentions of a clasic imprint like Folkways, collecting and disseminating sound to broaden the understanding of a social field.

With a stunning back catalogue including landmark releases from COUM Transmissions, Cold Cave, Tor Lundvall, Cult of Youth, aTelecine, Genesis P-Orridge and Tony Conrad, Dais Records shares their 2011 offerings which include new, visionary releases from Iceage, Lord Foul, Ghedalia Tazartes, Prurient, additional lost, previously unreleased COUM Transmissions and more.

Tor Lundvall - The Seasons Unfold Box Set contains three epic original Winter, Spring, and Summer albums Ice, The Mist and Under The Shadows of Trees remastered, repackaged and with 10 unheard bonus tracks. The set also features the new Autumn collection, Turning - with ambient tracks from Autumn Calls plus six unreleased pieces and alternate mixes recorded between 1992 and 1993. Art booklet and 4 CDs with 83 tracks in total.

Dais will be releasing incredible new dark punk outfit from Denmark Iceage's New Brigade LP. The Dais release, limited to 500, will include two bonus tracks not available anywhere else.

Ghédalia Tazartès Diasporas is a reissue of an extremely obscure, yet highly respected French private press avant-garde record from 1979, famed for being on the classic "Nurse With Wound List." This bizarre gypsy/ psych/ folk/ noise/ parlor waltz/ experimental album blows away classification and original copies of this LP are highly sought after.
