Coleen Sexton and Gabe Violett Join BY YOUR SIDE Line-Up, 4/22

Coleen Sexton and Gabe Violett Join Lineup for "By Your Side," featuring the music of Drew Overcash this Sunday, April 22. Additional artists have joined Drew Overcash for "By Your Side," a new music showcase this Sunday at the Time Out Lounge.

Newly announced for the 9:30 concert are Coleen Sexton, Wicked and Jekyll & Hyde, and Spring Awakening's Gabe Violett.? ?They will join previously announced Richard H. Blake (Wicked), Meggie Cansler (Finian's Rainbow), Nick Cartell (Jesus Christ Superstar), Danielle Jordan (Follies), Rebecca Larkin (Avenue Q, South Pacific), Matt Lutz (Bonnie & Clyde), Kimberly Marable (Sister Act), Nic Rouleau (The Book of Mormon), BranDon Chandler, Katherine Wright, Kiley McDonald and Molly Smith.

As previously stated, the evening will feature music from Boys Vs. Girls and Joe, both written by Overcash. Overcash will accompany the singers on piano with Bobbie Lee Crow III on cello, Will Dietzler on guitar and Cody Rahn on percussion.

Overcash's musicals, Boys Vs. Girls and Joe, are currently in development. Boys Vs. Girls tells the story of the stereotypes we associate ourselves with when we are young and the struggle to break out of them, and Joe is based on a true story about one family's struggle with their eldest son's diagnosis of cancer.
