Champaign Urbana Theatre Company Presents LEGALLY BLONDE THE MUSICAL, 8/2-12
The Champaign Urbana Theatre Company will present the musical LEGALLY BLONDE at the Parkland College Theatre August 2-12 as part of the company's award winning season.
LEGALLY BLONDE is a Tony Award-nominated musical that tells the story of sorority star Elle Woods who doesn’t take “no” for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone “serious,” Elle puts down the credit card, hits the books, and sets out to go where no Delta Nu has gone before: Harvard Law. Along the way, Elle proves that beingtrue to yourself never goes out of style.
Over 70 talented local men and women have worked tirelessly behind the scenes, in the orchestra pit and in front of the curtain to bring this charming musical to the stage. LEGALLY BLONDE is directed by Garth Gersten with choreography by Whitney Havice and music direction by Andy Hudson.
The show will be performed at Parkland College Theatre 2400 W. Bradley Avenue.
Performance dates and times are August 2-4 & 9-11 at 7:30 pm and August 5 & 12 at 2:30PM.
