Center for Performing Arts at GSU Presents IF YOU GIVE A PIG A PANCAKE, 3/6
The Center for Performing Arts at Governors State University (1 University Parkway, University Park, IL 60484) presents "If You Give a Pig a Pancake & Other Story Books," Theatreworks USA's new musical adaptation of popular children's books, on Saturday, March 6 at 11 a.m.
This enchanting show is part of The Center's "Especially for Kids" series, providing an enjoyable morning of entertainment appropriate for families with children ages four and up. "If You Give a Pig a Pancake & Other Story Books" features mini-musicals starring popular story book characters. Tickets are just $10.50, available at centertickets.net or by calling (708) 235-2222.
The 60-minute performance includes musical adaptations of the following beloved children's books:
"Diary of a Worm": It's great to be a worm, but a wormy life also has its difficulties (like wiggling across a playground as human kids jump rope). Follow a worm's adventures as he writes about them all in his diary.
