Chicago Shakespeare Theater makes its Shakespeare's Globe debut
as part of London's 2012 Cultural Olympiad with The Q Brothers' Othello: The Remix, running this weekend, May 5 and 6, 2012.

This weekend, CST presents the world premiere of The Q Brothers' Othello: The Remix as part of the unprecedented Globe to Globe festival, in which each of Shakespeare's plays is performed in a different language by companies from around the world. American hip-hop has been recognized as its own language, and the production at the Globe will be the first time ever amplification is being used in the famed venue.

CST's participation in this landmark event is part of CST's World's Stage Series, which strives to bring to Chicago some of the best theater the world has to offer, and to share our uniquely American brand of Shakespeare with the world. Following the London engagement, CST makes its premiere appearance in Germany's Shakespeare im Globe Neuss Festival July 6 and 7 and returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, August 1–27.
