Broadway In Chicago Offers 1776 Half-Price Tickets, Begins June 28

In honor of Independence Day, threesixty entertainment's PETER PAN and DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST will make 1776 half price tickets available through the League of Chicago Theatres' Hot Tix program beginning Tuesday, June 28 at 10 a.m. Tickets will be available to select performances from June 29 - July 10, 2011 for purchase at either one of the two Hot Tix booth locations (72 E. Randolph St. and 163 E. Pearson St.) or at www.HotTix.org while supplies last. Broadway In Chicago has developed this offer in conjunction with the League of Chicago Theatres which provides services and support to more than 200 Chicagoland theaters.

DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is in its starting weeks in Chicago after playing a sold out engagement in April, 2010. The beloved production returns to Chicago to play the Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph St.) for a limited six-week engagement June 29, 2011 through Aug. 7, 2011. DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST has become an international sensation that has played to more than 35 million people worldwide in 21 countries. DISNEY'S BEAUTY AND THE BEAST is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed to his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

threesixty entertainment's PETER PAN is currently on sale through Aug. 21, 2011 at the Tribune Freedom Center (in between Halsted St. and the Chicago River). Conceived by an award-winning creative team and featuring 23 actors, stunning puppets, epic music, dazzling flying sequences and the world's first 360-degree CGI theater set, PETER PAN is an extraordinary experience. One of the most striking elements of this new production is the setting in which it is presented. The threesixty° Theatre, a 1,300 seat theater tent, allows for performance "in the round.
