Bob Saget Returns to Raue Center

Raue Center For The Arts is excited to welcome Bob Saget back to the stage! The Grammy-nominated comedian and actor will perform a night of comedy for adults... or people with really good fake IDs at 8 p.m. on February 7, 2018.

"It's so great to have Bob Saget back again on the Raue stage! He is not only one of the nicest guys in the businesses, but one of the funniest as well," says Raue Center Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. "His new stand-up special is not to be missed and his show is sure to be a hit - but with the 18+ crowd only!"

Yes, Saget has starred in many successful shows, including two of the most family-friendly shows ever produced by network TV ("Full House" and "America's Funniest Home Videos") but he is also an out-of-his-mind, Grammy-nominated stand-up comedian whose adult brand of comedy leaves his sold-out audiences welcoming him in a whole new light.

After more than 30 years in show businesses, Saget shows no signs of stopping. Ever. He earned a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album for his stand-up special, "That's What I'm Talking About," in 2013. The following year, Saget's first book, "DIRTY DADDY: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian," became a New York Times Best Seller, earning critical acclaim.

In January 2016, Saget completed a successful 9-week run on Broadway in the Tony-nominated play, "Hand to God," playing the role of Pastor Greg. Later that year, Saget co-starred in the film "A Stand-Up Guy" and returned to the iconic role of Danny Tanner on the first and second seasons of the mega-hit Netflix series, "Fuller House."

Saget recently completed directing and acting in the independent dark comedy film, "Benjamin," which is scheduled for release in 2018. He also reunited with his TV family for more fun on the third season of "Fuller House," which was released in 2017.

While Saget is currently reprising his role as one of TV's most wholesome fathers, his most recent stand-up special, "ZERO TO SIXTY," is filled with jokes that would make Danny Tanner blush! From his sell-out stand-up shows to his scene-stealing cameos on "Entourage" and "The Aristocrats," it is always effective when Saget embraces his dark side!

Tickets start at $44 and may be purchased online at rauecenter.org or via the Box Office at 815.356.9212 or 26 N. Williams Street in downtown Crystal Lake. Due to content, this show is intended for ages 18 and older.
