BURN THE FLOOR And Chicago Dance Search for the Worst Dancer In Chicago

Chicago Dance teamed up with Broadway In Chicago's BURN THE FLOOR on their mission to find the "Worst Dancer In Chicago!" Winners of this competition will receive a dance lesson at Chicago Dance and two top-price tickets to the opening night performance of BURN THE FLOOR on Feb. 1, 2011 at the Bank of America Theatre (18 W. Monroe St). "The Worst Dancer In Chicago" submission deadline is Jan. 30th, 2011.
Contestants are encouraged to submit a video demonstrating why they are the Worst Dancer In Chicago to the Broadway In Chicago YouTube page. "The Worst Dancer In Chicago" will be chosen based on input from a Chicago Dance dancer and a cast member from BURN THE FLOOR.Chicago Dance, recognized by Chicago Magazine for 'Best Dance Lessons' has been offering students Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Tango and Swing classes since 1976. Tommye Giacchino and Gregory Day own the 2 locations of Chicago Dance. They were two-time United States Champions and won the World Invitational Exhibition title at the British Open (Blackpool). Tommye and Gregory helped attract significant recognition for Latin and Ballroom Dance in Chicago, and played a major role in its revival here. They have judged extensively and were National Ballroom competition organizers. Gregory is a National judge for the US National Championships.
