Chicago Dance teamed up with Broadway In Chicago's BURN THE FLOOR on their mission to find the "Worst Dancer In Chicago!" Winners of this competition will receive a dance lesson at Chicago Dance and two top-price tickets to the opening night performance of BURN THE FLOOR on Feb. 1, 2011 at the Bank of America Theatre (18 W. Monroe St). "The Worst Dancer In Chicago" submission deadline is Jan. 30th, 2011.

Contestants are encouraged to submit a video demonstrating why they are the Worst Dancer In Chicago to the Broadway In Chicago YouTube page. "The Worst Dancer In Chicago" will be chosen based on input from a Chicago Dance dancer and a cast member from BURN THE FLOOR.

Chicago Dance, recognized by Chicago Magazine for 'Best Dance Lessons' has been offering students Ballroom, Latin, Salsa, Tango and Swing classes since 1976. Tommye Giacchino and Gregory Day own the 2 locations of Chicago Dance. They were two-time United States Champions and won the World Invitational Exhibition title at the British Open (Blackpool). Tommye and Gregory helped attract significant recognition for Latin and Ballroom Dance in Chicago, and played a major role in its revival here. They have judged extensively and were National Ballroom competition organizers. Gregory is a National judge for the US National Championships.

Years before "Dancing with the Stars" and "So You Think You Can Dance" turned ballroom dancing into must-see TV, one sizzling show was setting stages ablaze around the globe. The tour features "So You Think You Can Dance" alums Anya Garnis, Pasha Kovalev, Ashleigh Di Lello, Ryan Di Lello, Robbie Kmetoni, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer. All seven have been seen on TV's "So You Think You Can Dance," in the US (Anya & Pasha, Top 10 Finalists and Season 7 All Stars; Ashleigh & Ryan Di Lello, Janette Manrara and Karen Hauer, Top 10 Finalists) and Australia (Robbie Kmetoni, 2010 Winner). Also featured is Vonzell Solomon as the show's female vocalist. Vonzell was the second runner-up in the 4th season of "American Idol."
