Additions Announced for Raue Center's 2018 - 2019 Season!

Raue Center For The Arts is proud to announce the addition of several exciting new shows to the 2018 - 2019 season. From Chicago favorites and award winners to hit tributes, there is something for everyone to enjoy at Raue Center this season!

"This is one of our most exciting fall lineups in years! We are so excited and honored to have John Waite, Puddles Pity Party and Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues featuring Tracy Nelson join our fall roster along with Amy Grant, Jane Lynch and so many more, not to mention several great regional artists," says Raue Center Executive Director, Richard Kuranda. "It's a great time to celebrate the wonderful music of the Talking Heads, Earth Wind & Fire and so many more with fantastic tribute shows. Raue Center continues to flourish with wonderful artistry!"

Raue Center kicks off its newly announced shows with John Waite! He will be performing his catalogue of hits from his 40 year career as a solo artist and the lead singer of The Baby's and Bad English! Don't miss some of the most loved songs of the '80s and '90s, including Waite's number one worldwide hit "Missing You," at 8 p.m. on November 17, 2018. Tickets start at $39.

The "Sad Clown with the Golden Voice" comes to Raue Center with his heartfelt anthems and a suitcase full of Kleenex at 8 p.m. on November 30, 2018! Best known for his appearance on NBC's "America's Got Talent," Puddles Pity Party is not all sadness and longing. This show is peppered with a brilliant sense of the absurd, mixing humor with the awkward, tender moments. Tickets start at $29.

The season continues into 2019 with a performance by Chicago's great harmonica master, composer, blues pianist and singer-songwriter at 8 p.m. on January 11, 2019. Jazz and classical music mingle with Corky Siegel's Chamber Blues Featuring Tracy Nelson! Two extraordinary powerhouses come together for a night of dazzling musical fireworks with riveting Blues harp from one of the country's best, Corky Siegel, who will be joined by compelling country-blues vocalist, Tracy Nelson. Tickets start at $25.

Raue Center also announced the addition of several hit tributes to the 2018 - 2019 season, beginning with BiG SUiT: A Tribute to Talking Heads! Rock the Raue with this collective of musicians drawn to the cerebral adventures, infectious rhythms and pioneering music known to the world as Talking Heads at 8 p.m. on January 19, 2019! Tickets start at $28.

Hot Blooded - The Foreigner Experience heats up Raue Center's stage at 8 p.m. on January 26, 2019! Audiences can experience the classic songs of Foreigner like never before with a tribute show designed to deliver a live performance so close to the original they will be amazed! Tickets start at $30.

The final tribute added to Raue Center's 2018 - 2019 season is a celebration of the four decade strong success, popularity and resilience of one of the most successful musical stories ever told. Audiences will leave Shining Star - A Tribute to Earth, Wind & Fire at 8 p.m. on March 9, 2019 feeling as though they have been entertained by the most well-known R&B pop band of all time! Tickets start at $28.

Raue Center also announced the addition of an award-winning singer-songwriter to this season's lineup! Esteemed for her imaginative interpretations of traditional and contemporary folk standards along with her own poetically poignant original compositions, Judy Collins takes the stage at 7 p.m. on February 16, 2019. Tickets start at $39.

Raue Center rounds out its new show announcement with the return of the best party in town at 8 p.m. on March 1, 2019! Intimate, playful and fun for the whole family, The Irish House Party is a unique Irish experience hosted by All-Ireland champion musicians, dancers and entertaining presenters! Tickets are $20.
