Comedic duo Schupbach and Levy present Apocalypse WOW: The Last Holiday Special Ever" from tonight, December 19 through Saturday, December 21, 2013 at 7:30 pm.

All performances take place at Gorilla Tango Bucktown, 1919 N Milwaukee, Chicago IL, 60647. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at gorillatango.com/bucktown or by calling 773-598-4549.

In 2012, it was clear to anyone with a logical mind and wild imagination that the end was near. All the signs were there: the Mayan calendar was ending, the human race had taken the mark of the beast via social media, and Tom Bosley had been in the grave for over two years. The impending apocalypse frightened and saddened comedians Joseph Schupbach and Elizabeth Levy for many reasons. Would they get to say goodbye to their families? Had they tied up all their loose ends with the big guy upstairs? And, most importantly, would they ever get the chance to realize their shared pipe dream of writing and performing the greatest holiday special of all time?

Fearfully and with humility, Schupbach and Levy approached the Powers That Be begging them for just one more year. The Powers, in their infinite wisdom, granted Schupbach and Levy this one wish, and pushed back the apocalypse for one calendar year to allow them time to produce their holiday special. The only catch? The apocalypse would now occur immediately following their show.

Come celebrate the holiday season with song, dance, and the end of the world (for real this time) with your favorite roasted hams, Schupbach and Levy. The holiday event of the millennium is definitely not the live telecast of Sound of Music starring Carrie Underwood, but rather Apocalypse WOW: The Last Holiday Special Ever.

Apocalypse WOW features Joseph Schupbach and Elizabeth Levy, is directed by Geoff Rice, choreographed by Amy Carlson, and features music by Erick Deshaun Dorris.
