16th Street Theater Announces the Opening of THE WOLF AT THE END OF THE BLOCK 16th Street Theater announces the opening of Ike Holter's THE WOLF AT THE END OF THE BLOCK directed by Lili-Anne Brown March 29 - May 5, 2018 at North Berwyn Park District's 16th Street Theater, 6420 16th Street in Berwyn with a press opening of Thursday, April 5 at 7:30 PM.

Ike Holter is one of Chicago's most exciting playwrights. His play is the second offering in 16th Street's 2018 Season Eleven: Heroes. "When I saw the premiere of WOLF at Teatro Vista last spring," states Artistic Director Ann Filmer, "I was on the edge of my seat: like I held my breath for the full 90 minutes. Ike knows how to spin a yarn and this one is tangled in events both current and timeless. Director Lili-Anne Brown is fully embracing the film noir style Ike wrote. This play will provoke exciting dialogue here at 16th Street."

Chicago. Fall. One night, a boarded up bar on the dark side of the block becomes a terrifying crime scene. In the next 48 hours, the neighborhood digs deep into escalating mystery, working against time to separate fact from fiction. But as the clock ticks down, the clues spiral into a razor sharp jigsaw, and what began as a simple mystery quickly twists into a personal, pointed and political thriller.

THE WOLF AT THE END OF THE BLOCK features Alberto Mendoza, Gabriela Diaz, Tony Santiago, Associate Artist Stephanie Diaz and Christian Isely.
