Right Before I Go at Charlotte's Off-Broadway Black Box Theatre at The VAPA Center

Written by Stan Zimmerman, this powerful play gives voice to veterans, bullied youth, members of the LGBTQ+ community, public figures, people who died by suicide, and survivors of suicide attempts. Presented by Charlotte's Off-Broadway in collaboration with Mental Health Reimagined, the staged reading features Lucca Amortegui, Jonathan Ewart, Roman Lawrence, Melissa Stevens Steele, Gina Stewart, and Rahman Williams, directed by Amy L. Campbell. The production is surrounded by an immersive experience including string towers, survivor portraits, and community art installations, with talk-backs held after each performance featuring licensed mental health professionals.
