2014 SEASON:

Frank Wildhorn's The Scarlet Pimpernel

June 6- 14

Halton Theater

Sword Fights. Daring Rescues. The latest Parisian Fashions? All of these things go together to create Frank Wildhorn's THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL. An action/adventure musical based on Baroness Orczy's famous 20th century novel about the French Revolution, THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL takes us back to that infamous time when revolution filled the air and Madame Guillotine filled the gutters of Paris with blood. The book and lyrics by Nan Knighton makes THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL at times funny and at others horrifying. Frank Wildhorn's music is moving and passionate. In the same vein as his Broadway hit Jekyll & Hyde, Wildhorn's The Scarlet Pimpernel brings to life the daring do and romance of a time written in fire. Don't miss the Charlotte premier of THE SCARLET PIMPERNEL!
