The Flat Rock Playhouse Studio 52 Vagabond School of the Drama, which provides students with quality instruction in a professional and nurturing atmosphere, announced today that their fall offerings of exciting and challenging classes for students age three through twelfth grade are currently taking registrations online. The fall semester of Studio 52 classes begins Monday, September 14; class fees range from $25 to $225. Registration and information are available on the Flat Rock Playhouse website under the Studio 52 tab. Registrations are also accepted in person at Studio 52, 1855 Little River Road, Flat Rock, NC 28731, Monday through Friday 10 AM through 4 PM. Complete class descriptions and registration forms are available at www.flatrockplayhouse.org.

From the tenderfoot dramatic classes to advanced filmmaking, students can develop their STORIES by using their imaginations and building technical skills as they gain valuable life skills of confidence, creative problem-solving, teamwork and personal responsibility - all while having fun. With small classes and one-on-one attention, Studio 52's professionally trained and educated faculty nurtures creative minds while teaching practical skills. Commenting on the lasting effects of the Studio 52 classes, a summer camp parent stated, "In only four days, Studio 52 changed my child in ways I never dreamed were possible. My daughter is more confidant, sees the world with a more empathetic eye and now has a love for reading she has never had before!"

During the fall semester, students age three to fourth grade explore STORY, adventures and imagine tales through literature, creative play and group movement. Students in grades five through twelve learn and put into practice the fundamentals of acting, musical theatre and filmmaking. Studio 52 is also offering Home Schooling classes, In-School Field-trips, Continuing Education classes, Satellite classes and Saturday Snapshot workshops. The fall semester at Studio 52 provides a ten-week session of classes and the satellite classes provide a twelve-week experience. Most classes culminate in a showcase for family and friends at the end of the semester.

Financial need-based scholarship opportunities are available; scholarship applications may be obtained online at www.flatrockplayhouse.org and emailed to studio52@flatrockplayhouse.org.
