Bright Star Touring Theatre based in Asheville, North Carolina has been invited by the United States Embassy to visit Moscow this fall. While there, they will perform their acclaimed production Aesop's Fables, which has been seen by hundreds of audiences across the United States. The company will also teach an extensive residency, educating students on all aspects of Live Theatre including improvisation, acting, directing, writing and production design. Bright Star's residency will conclude with an exciting debut of plays built by the students from start to finish.

To mark the occasion, Bright Star will give a free local performance of Aesop's Fables at Asheville Community Theatre (ACT) on September 23rd. A Red Carpet Reception will follow immediately at the Asheville Renaissance Hotel.
