Improv Group The Chuckleheads Kick Off 2014 Summer Performances
Charlotte-based improv group The Chuckleheads have announced their summer 2014 shows! Performances are scheduled for tonight, May 17 at 6p (family friendly) and 8p, Saturday, June 14 at 8p and Saturday, July 12 at 8p.
The Chuckleheads present their Mom is Awesome Comedy Improv Musical Variety Extravaganza at the Warehouse Performing Arts Center, 9216-A Westmoreland Road, Cornelius, NC on Saturday, May 17 beginning at 6:00pm (family friendly) and 8:00pm. Tickets are: $10, when purchased at www.planetimprov.com (or) you can get added to the guest list at the discounted price at 704.301.1564 (or) scott@planetimprov.com (or) $15 when purchased at the door on the evening of the show.
The Chuckleheads' show will include Mother's Day themed unscripted improvisational comedy games (ala Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Improv-a-ganza, and the Second City,) musical games/activities, game show elements, and the heavy-duty audience participation that are staples of the six-year-old Chuckleheads' improv comedy troupe's shows. And it's all made up on the spot. The 8:00pm show could contain adult language and situations; the doors to the show at the Warehouse Performing Arts Center will open at 5p.
In June, the Chuckleheads present their Some Folks Have All the Luck Comedy Improv Musical Variety Extravaganza at The Tavern, 300 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC on Saturday, June 14 beginning at 8:00pm. Tickets are: $10, when purchased at www.planetimprov.com (or) you can get added to the guest list at the discounted price at 704.301.1564 (or) scott@planetimprov.com (or) $15 when purchased at the door. This show could contain adult language and situations. Doors will open at 7p. Food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available before, during and after the show.
In July, the Chuckleheads present their Ain't it Nifty Scott Pacitti is 50 Comedy Improv Musical Variety Extravaganza at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille, 911 East Morehead Street, Charlotte, NC on Saturday, July 12 beginning at 8:00pm. Tickets are: $10, when purchased at www.planetimprov.com (or) you can get added to the guest list at the discounted price at 704.301.1564 (or) scott@planetimprov.com (or) $15 when purchased at the door on the evening of the show. The 8:00pm show could contain adult language and situations. Doors open at 7p. Food and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be available before, during and after the Chuckleheads' show.
"Fabulous prizes" will be raffled off during the shows as a fundraiser. The Chuckleheads are the house improvisational troupe of the 501c3 non-profit corporation, Actor's Crib, Inc. Parking is free.
