Flat Rock Playhouse Presents TEATRO
The holiday season will kick off at the Playhouse Downtown with the final Music on the Rock Concert of 2018, Teatro! Making its Western Carolina Debut, Teatro will run from November 15th to 17th at the Playhouse Downtown. Featuring a phenomenal group of talented vocalists, Teatro will take you on a musical journey through the greatest songs of Broadway. Audiences can expect this production to sweep them far, far away with classics from Les Misérables and The Phantom of the Opera to Guys and Dolls and West Side Story. This November 15th to 17th, Teatro will add the Playhouse Downtown to its extensive credits including runs on Broadway and London's West End.
Teatro will bring a taste of late-night New York City to Downtown Hendersonville. Each performance will feature Cabaret style seating creating where audience members can get a more intimate experience by sitting on the stage with the performers on a first come, first serve basis. The performers will include previous Flat Rock Playhouse hit, Jeremiah James, who appeared in last year's production of The Little Shop of Horrors. Teatro will also feature Forest VanDyke, Nicholas Verina, Jason Watson who will all make their Flat Rock Playhouse debut. This dazzling production invites audiences to enjoy a delightful evening out as they experience the astounding and dreamy vocals of this all-star performing group.
On Friday evening of this production, The Flat Rock Playhouse will host a special fundraiser that includes catered bites, one free drink, and the chance to support the local arts. Sponsored by Joseph Laughter Clothier and catered by The Chef's Kitchen at Ingles. This special fundraiser is a cocktail, optional black tie event, and the Playhouse invites patrons to dress their best for this exciting and exclusive fundraiser to kick off a season of giving. Beginning at 6 PM with a reception, the show will begin at 7 PM. Tickets for this fundraiser are $50.00 and only available by calling the Box Office at (828) 693 - 0731.
Teatro will run one weekend only, Thursday through Saturday, November 15th - 17th at the Playhouse Downtown in Hendersonville. Performances on Thursday at 7:30 PM and Saturday at 2:00 PM and 8:00 PM with the Fundraiser Event on Friday beginning at 6 PM with food and cocktails. Tickets are $37 and can be purchased by calling the Playhouse Box Office at 828-693-0731, toll-free at 866-732-8008 or online at www.flatrockplayhouse.org. Tickets for the Friday night fundraiser are $50 and only available for purchase through the Box Office.
