2011 Carowinds Live Entertainment Auditions!

Carowinds, the Thrill Capital of the Southeast, is seeking trained, talented, versatile and experienced actors and characters for our 2011 entertainment season on Saturday, February 26 from 3pm until 6pm.

ACTORS- Please be prepared for a cold read and be prepared to sing a song in a country style as well. Sides will be provided at auditions. You may also prepare a family-friendly comedic monologue no longer than 90 seconds in length that displays your personality, comedic ability, and announcing style. Please be prepared for a short dance routine taught by our choreographer so wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No flip-flops. Please bring a one page resume and a current photo.

CHARACTERS- We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to portray Peanuts Characters^TM (Snoopy^TM, Charlie Brown^TM, Linus^TM, Lucy^TM,etc). You must be between 4'11" to 5'2". Please be prepared for a short dance routine taught by our choreographer so wear comfortable clothing and shoes. No flip-flops. Please bring a one page resume and a current photo.

Stage Managers-We are looking for experienced Stage Managers and supervisors to manage a variety of show and special event products. PLEASE NOTE:
You will be auditioned in order of arrival within your talent category.
You must be 15 years of age to audition and/or interview.
Auditions are limited to two minutes.
The audition process may take a long time - please be prepared to wait
