CPCC Summer Theatre, Charlotte's only professional summer stock theatre, brings the Tony Award winning musical "Damn Yankees" to the Halton Theater stage this month. In this Broadway classic, Faust meets professional baseball as middle-aged baseball fanatic Joe Boyd trades his soul to the devil for a chance to lead his favorite team to victory in the pennant race against the New York Yankees. Audiences will enjoy seeing Mr. Applegate (the Devil) portrayed by fan favorite Dennis Delamar, who is no stranger to CPCC Summer Theatre's productions.
