CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS Opens 2/11 At McGlohon Theatre

The hit comedy CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS returns to the McGlohon Theatre Feb. 11-20, 2010 for its sixth year with the latest show, SIX DEGREES OF DESECRATION. This musical parody pokes fun at Charlotte and the nation through the use of original lyrics set to well-known songs.

Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased online at BlumenthalCenter.org, by phone at 704-372-1000, or from the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center Box Office located in the Tryon Street lobby of the Belk Theater.

Broadway meets Saturday Night Live meets Charlotte in CHARLOTTE SQUAWKS: SIX DEGREES OF DESECRATION. The creative team of Mike Collins and BrIan Kahn collaborate with the area's most talented singers, dancers and actors to parody pop-culture, politics, sports and our beloved Queen City. From NASCAR to illegal immigration, from American Idol to Charlotte's churches... nothing is sacred!
