Bill Cosby At The Belk Theater Tickets Go On Sale 2/25

Legendary comedian, actor and author Bill Cosby returns to the Belk Theater Sunday, April 25 for two performances at 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. For full news release, please visit www.BlumenthalCenter.org/news.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow, Friday, February 26 at 10:00 a.m. and can be purchased online at BlumenthalCenter.org, by phone at 704-372-1000, or from the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center Box Office located in the Tryon Street lobby of the Belk Theater.

Over the past century, few entertainers have achieved the legendary status of William H. Cosby Jr. His successes span five decades and virtually all media, remarkable accomplishments for a kid who emerged from humble beginnings in a Philadelphia project.

In the 1960s, his stand-up act was a coast-to-coast sensation, spawning a string of hilarious, best-selling comedy albums which went on to win eight Gold Records, five Platinum records and five Grammy Awards. His role on TV's I Spy made him the first African-American to co-star in a dramatic series. In the 1980s, he again rocked the television world with The Cosby Show.

With hit movies like Uptown Saturday Night and best-selling books like Fatherhood, Bill Cosby is quite simply a national treasure with a unique ability to touch people's hearts.
