William G. Adams Named New Director of Totem Pole Playhouse
William G. Adams, CPA, 73, retired Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the retail division of McCormick Spice Company was elected to the board of Totem Pole Playhouse at a recent meeting of the board of directors filing one of the vacancies created by recent departures from the board. Mr. Adams is a graduate of High Point College in High Point, NC, earned his CPA designation, and holds an associates degree in Law from The Baltimore School of Law. Before joining the McCormick Spice Company Adams was with various CPA firms in the Washington, DC area with a specialization in financial consulting and forensic accounting. When not focused on the business world he earned a Black Belt in various martial arts disciplines and taught Karate. Totem Pole Playhouse, located in Caledonia State Park between Chambersburg and Gettysburg, PA, is a 501c3 non-profit organization and all contributions to the theater are deductible for federal income tax purposes. Totem Pole Playhouse is embarking upon its 64th year of offering live professional theater to people in the Cumberland Valley.
