The Bridge on the River Kwai is a classic war drama that pits two proud enemies against each other in a battle of honor and survival. In a prisoner-of-war camp in Burma, the camp commander Colonel Saito insists that British colonel Nicholson order his troops to build a bridge which will enable the Japanese to transport their munitions. Nicholson eventually agrees, determining that the British would prove superior by building the best bridge possible. The story’s climax adds unexpected punch to a stunning movie.

Tickets ($7 - General Admission) are available at the Hershey Theatre Box Office, located at 15 East Caracas Avenue in downtown Hershey. Also available are Hershey Theatre six-packs of tickets for $30.

The Box Office opens at 6:30 p.m. the evening of the film. A concert on the Theatre’s historic four-manual Aeolian-Skinner organ precedes the film at 7:00 p.m. Hershey Theatre is one of the nation's premier historic theatres.
