Sip Your Way Through Millbrook Playhouses Hilarious 55th Season Opener

The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are excited to present THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY by Jessie Jones, Nicholas Hope, and Jamie Wooten, playing from June 8th to the 17th in the Poorman Cabaret.

A delightful, laugh-a-minute comedy! Four unique Southern women, all needing to escape their daily routines, are drawn together at an impromptu happy hour - and decide it's time to reclaim the enthusiasm for life they've lost through the years. Over the course of months, filled with laughter, hilarious misadventures, and the occasional liquid refreshment, these middle-aged women successfully bond and find the confidence to jumpstart their new lives. Together, they discover a renewed determination to live in the moment - and realize it's never too late to make new old friends. RATED PG

THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY is directed by Amanda Coffin and the cast includes; Gerri Weagraff as Randa Covington, Joan Crooks as Dot Haigler (Steel Magnolias, Mrs. Mannerly), Georgia Fender as Marlafaye Mosley, and Kirsten Egenes as Jinx Jenkins.

THE SAVANNAH SIPPING SOCIETY production team includes Set Design by Cade Sikord, Costume Design by Shivanna Sooknanan, Lighting Design by Caleb Stroman, Sound Design by Adam Visconti, and Props Design by David Singleton.

Tickets are on sale now at the Millbrook Playhouse in the Poorman Cabaret June 8-10 and 13-16 at 7:30 pm and matinees are Wednesday, June 10 and Sunday, June 13 and 17 at 2:00 pm. Tickets are $25 for adults, $15 for students and $10 for children. NEW THIS SEASON: Discounted ticket prices on Wednesday evening and Sunday matinees, all tickets are 10% off.
