Millbrook Playhouse to Present CHURCH BASEMENT LADIES, Begin. 8/1

By:
The Board of Directors and Artistic Director, David Leidholdt, are thrilled to announce the opening of Millbrook Playhouse's production of Church Basement Ladies, book and music by Jim Stowell, Jessica Zuehlke and Drew Jansen, in the Poorman Cabaret this Friday, August 1st at 7:30pm.

Join us as we transform the Poorman Cabaret into a church basement from rural Minnesota. Church Basement Ladies, a Millbrook premiere, is a celebration of the church basement kitchen and the women who work there. From the elderly matriarch of the kitchen to the young bride-to-be learning the proper order of things, the book and music by Jim Stowell, Jessica Zuehlke and Drew Jansen give us a touching, funny look at their lives as we see them handle a record breaking Christmas dinner, the funeral of a dear friend, a Hawaiian Easter Fundraiser, and a steaming hot July wedding. It's Heavenly! Directed by Millbrook fan favorite, Marc de la Concha, Musical Direction by Charlotte Evans, the cast of this already sold out run is made up of Jennifer Ambler, Shannon Agnew, Meghan McCormick, Kate Keating, and Patrick Bolger.

Performances are August 1-3, & 6-10 at 7:30pm, August 6 at 2:00pm and are currently sold out. The Senior Preview Performance is on July 31st at 7:30pm.
