Woodstock Playhouse Presents MOONCHILDREN

By:
The Dramatic Comedy 'Moonchildren' comes to the stage of the iconic Woodstock Playhouse featuring the Woodstock Playhouse Summer Theatre Cast 2017, a regional company widely known for some of the finest performances in our NY & tri-state region.

This play, originally entitled 'Cancer', from Brooklyn Playwright, Michael Weller, the author of 'Split' and 'Loose Ends', explores the rootless 60's generation of free-love and protest chronicled in the life of 8 'moonchildren" - college roommates living communally in an off-campus attic in the mid-1960s. They march in protest against the status quo taunting law enforcement. One feels genuine emotion at his mother's death, one romance dies, and another is ended. The ultimately realize their lives are as empty as the establishment they protest so vehemently against.

Fridays & Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.
