Move over, Thelma and Louise! When Lana Mae Hopkins, owner and proprietress of the Wishy Washy Washateria, hires Katie Lane Murphy to help out in the Laundromat, they soon find themselves up to their elbows in soap, suds, and cheatin' hearts. Watch these two country angels join forces to turn their good ol' Laundromat into a boot-scootin' honky-tonk, exacting a touch of revenge against those that done 'em wrong, and all while guaranteeing each and every customer a good, clean time! Take a ride to Nashville heaven in this new musical from from the author of THE MARVELOUS WONDERETTES & LIFE COULD BE A DREAM.

The show features the music of country stars such as Reba McEntire, Carrie Underwood, Dixie Chicks, Dolly Parton, Martina McBride, Pam Tillis, Trisha Yearwood, Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn, Gretchen Wilson, Chely Wright and Sara Evans.

CRT's production will be one of the first in the country of a show that was a smash hit in Los Angeles in 2017, where the show was extended multiple times in its premiere run. CRT's production is a joint venture with Shadowland Theatre (Hudson Valley) and will feature two outstanding talents in the two lead roles - Danielle Erin Rhodes and Kim Rochelle Harris - both members of Actor's Equity, the union for professional actors. Both have performed extensively throughout the country in musicals at multiple regional theatres.

Naima Kradjian & Nancy Phillips (In honor of Ara Kradjian).

Chenango River Theatre's production runs August 9 - Sept. 9. Mulitple performances are already sold out - for the most current list of sold out dates, please check the website: www.chenangorivertheatre.org.

Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m., plus Sunday matinees at 2 pm. Tickets can be purchased at www.chenangorivertheatre.org, or by email: tickets@chenangorivertheatre.org. You can also make reservations 24 hours a day by voice mail at 607-656-8499. CRT's box office is open Wed-Sat, noon to 5:30).

Individual tickets are $28 Thu/Fri/Sun and $30 on Sat. Tickets are half price for college students and those under 18. All performances start on time - late seating is not available.

Chenango River Theatre is just 15 minutes north of Binghamton at 991 State Highway 12, Greene, NY.
