Patchogue Theatre Presents BROADWAY BLOCKBUSTERS

The not-for-profit Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts presents the next edition in its Broadway Spotlight Series, Broadway Blockbusters on Saturday, March 21 at 8pm.

BROADWAY BLOCKBUSTERS is an all-new concert event created exclusively for Patchogue Theatre on Saturday evening, March 21st at 8 PM. Produced and hosted by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, Broadway's finest performers will recreate their most memorable musical career highlights, display their versatility, share backstage behind-the-scenes anecdotes and participate in an enlightening and entertaining question and answer session with our audience.

Scheduled performers are John Treacy Egan (Franz Liebkind and Roger De Bris in the Broadway production of The Producers as well as starring as Max Bialystock; Sister Act (Joey); The Little Mermaid (Chef Louis); My Fair Lady; Bye Bye Birdie; Nice Work If You Can Get It; Jekyll & Hyde; Casa Valentina), Becky Gulsvig (most recently starred as Beverly in the Broadway production of Come From Away; School of Rock; Legally Blonde; Hairspray), 2X Drama Desk Award winner, 2X Tony Award nominee and Olivier Award nominee Gavin Lee (original Bert in Mary Poppins on Broadway and in London, Squidward in SpongeBob SquarePants the Musical (both on Broadway on in the recent Nickelodeon TV broadcast); Thernardier in Les Miserables), Telly Leung (Aladdin in Aladdin; RENT; Godspell; Pacific Overtures; Flower Drum Song; Allegiance; In Transit), Olivier Award winner and Drama Desk Award nominee Lesli Margherita (Matilda; Dames at Sea), plus Special Appearances by Ben Hope and Elisabeth Evans from the Broadway production of Once.

Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz. The concert will include songs from Mary Poppins; Aladdin; Come From Away; Once; Legally Blonde; Matilda; The Sound of Music; Aida; Crazy For You; Smokey Joe's Cafe; Guys and Dolls; RENT; Spamalot; Damn Yankees!; 1776; The Wedding Singer; Dames at Sea; No Strings and Top Hat.
